I left everything behind when I was 17. Shortly after I have began my immigration process, Russia passed even more restrictive laws, making it illegal for people like me to exist. Meanwhile, I was getting closer to my dreams coming true. My journey took me from Turkey to Mexico and finally, just a week before my 18th birthday, my mother and I have landed in New York City. I cherish those first days—walking around, taking everything in, feeling like I was dreaming. I could feel the freedom, the promise of great things ahead. My mother and I separated shortly after our arrival. Within weeks, I was living on my own. It was a time of big decisions, and though not all of them were choices I would make today, I am grateful to myself for being fearless. It is so important what people you surround yourself with, especially at times when you are vulnerable and in need of support. Self care, slowing down, and spending time outside has helped me through severe anxiety, and I believe that every queer person, especially minors, should have the tools to to navigate their emotions and find resilience.
This is just the beginning. I will go after the life I know I deserve, and in a place like New York, it all feels possible. I want to be seen and understood, contributing to a world where strong women like me are the norm. Trans women deserve not only respect, love, and safety, but also the freedom to live authentically and without fear. We are worthy of the same opportunities, compassion, and dignity as anyone else.
There are so many things I am grateful for, and calling New York my new home is one of them. It is where I am finding myself, growing into a strong woman while making mistakes and learning from life.
Before things got clear enough for me to come out to my parents as a trans woman at 16, I had already spent years navigating my identity. Living in Moscow at the time, going to a public school, I certainly was cautious of any risks. In a conservative country like Russia, the dangers of being my true self were immense. Questioning your place in society simply isn’t a conversation you can have there—people lack knowledge, and diversity is seen as foreign, something to be rejected. Women are raised to be mothers and wives, men expected to provide for them. The pressure was suffocating. By my teenage years, I had already begun dreaming of leaving that world behind. There was so much I wanted to escape—the people, the laws, the restrictions. I believe that trans people are free people and we do not thrive in environments where we cannot exercise that freedom.
I will go after the life I know I deserve, and in a place like New York, it all feels possible

Supreme x Damien Hirst
Supreme x Damien Hirst Spring 2025: Streetwear Meets High Art
Supreme has joined forces with British art provocateur Damien Hirst for its Spring 2025 capsule collection, blending contemporary art with streetwear. The collection transforms two of Hirst’s iconic works—The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living (1991) and Black Sheep with Golden Horns (2009)—into wearable pieces. These artworks, which have fetched millions at auction, now adorn Supreme’s signature staples.
Key pieces include puffer jackets, sweaters, and tees featuring hyper-detailed prints of Hirst's macabre creations, as well as painter jeans with subtler designs. The standout items, however, are skate decks emblazoned with Hirst’s artwork and signature—already snapped up by collectors in record time.
This collaboration blurs the line between art and fashion, making a bold statement on mortality, value, and consumerism. With the drop selling out instantly, the collection is already a secondary-market sensation, cementing its place as one of the season’s most talked-about releases.

I am sure that everyone has a place of power, often in cities. This is New York for me, I didn't realize it right away, it took many years, the most recent visit dispelled all doubts, there are no more such places for me, where everything that inspires and inspires is at arm's length and the eye will not cease to rejoice, charging and inspiring at every corner! It's been a long time since I've been so inspired.…
We were walking around the West Village with my friend and editor 0214, sharing ideas and impressions. I was glad to see every corner and inspired from everything…
New York is a city of contrasts - mountains of garbage are adjacent to luxury shops, further emphasizing the beauty of the latter. At one such intersection, discussing archival collections, the idea of this column was born. As a stylist, I have access to many archival collections that are timeless and become unique creations of the masters who created them, become more expensive and become objects that everyone dreams of, as for the paintings of famous Renaissance artists.
Speaking of the latter, they were chosen for the first column as a common theme that visually united and affected many fashion houses from Vivienne Westwood and BALMAIN to Zara, which very quickly pick up fashion trends.
For this article we’d choose Moschino models from the AW 18 collection with the sensational slogan of the whole show - Make love not war, BALMAIN - masterpieces from the SS23 collection, which were covered with prints from Renaissance paintings, were found in the archives. According to Olivier himself, "Renaissance is a French word that means rebirth," the collection is dedicated to ancient gods, brilliant artists and their works and some more.

The model was chosen for a long time - an angel, a fallen angel, was needed. Pavel Ivanov, a multiple participant in the Super Ninja show and an aspiring actor, was chosen for his role.
Sooner or later, everything becomes garbage... equipment, unnecessary car parts and commercial equipment, it's a pity to throw something away and it lies in a garage or warehouse until it becomes a decoration for art objects and everything together becomes a single whole, forming a modern version of Renaissance -Trashssance.
